DEC maintains a collection of resources for people living with dementia, family caregivers, and professionals. Use these categories as a starting point, then contact DEC if you need help finding the right direction.

Resource Databases

The current DEC list includes the Community Resource Finder, Alzheimer’s Foundation of America caregiving resources, Area Agencies on Aging, Family Caregiver Alliance, Eldercare Locator, Alzheimer’s Texas, and Elder Options of Texas.

Dementia Information and Caregiver Support

The current list includes Alzheimer’s Association education and helpline resources, Caregiver Action Network, Caregiver Teleconnection, CaregiverU, the Lewy Body Dementia Association, and the Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration.
